On October 17 through October 20 in Washington, DC, Brookdale Senior Living, a leading owner and operator of senior living communities, and Jeremy Bloom's Wish of a Lifetime, a nonprofit organization dedicated to granting life-enriching wishes to older Americans, supported a group wish of nine residents and senior Veterans to visit their national memorials and monuments.
The Veteran group was greeted by Department of Defense 60th Anniversary Korean War Commemoration Committee Director Colonel David Clark at the World War II Memorial where he presented letters to Veterans from Senator Mark Udall thanking them for their service. A representative from Senator Lamar Alexander's office also attended the presentation.
